You ever go to the movies to see that much anticipated sequel of one of you favorite films. Then afterwards, you kinda let it digest in the deepest reaches of your cinematic soul, wondering what just happened? Why are you disappointed?, Did you really give it a fair chance? What happened to the last two hours of your life and can you ever get them back?
Then you come to a fully conclusive reaction, “ man that was crap!”
But time passes, and your scrolling through Netflix, Hulu, or HBOMax, and you see that same film and you watch it again. Then , it’s like “ Hmmmm….still not great, but it really wasn't that bad!”
Could it be that enough time has passed and your expectation wasn't as high this time? Could it be that you have grown older and have become a more forgiving soul? Or could it just be, that this time you didn't have to drop $20 to watch it?
